Not at all, the biOrb Tube actually has a biological filtration system that is bigger than any other similar sized aquarium. In fact, many aquariums twice its size have less biological filtration. 

To maintain your biOrb Tube all you need to do is simply replace the filter cartridge every six weeks and change a third of the water every two weeks. 

The biOrb Tube is an illuminated aquarium. 

Choose between a standard light or our popular Moonlight version. The Moonlight automatically senses when your room goes dark and switches to a soothing blue glow. 

For your peace of mind, the light and pump are low voltage and both are backed by a 12 month guarantee. The aquarium itself is made from acrylic which is ten times stronger than glass. 

All in all, a perfect starter aquarium with all the performance you'd expect from a bigger set up. 

The Multi-Colored Remote-Controlled LED light

Now you can enjoy the magic of multi-colored lighting in your biOrb at the touch of a button. Simply choose your favourite color or scroll through the entire spectrum of light.

What's more, it is an automatic setting which simulates a natural light cycle for your fish. An inbuilt timer phases the light through a 24 hour period from daylight to moonlight and back again. Simply choose from the 8, 10 and 12 hour daylight settings and the MCR light will do the rest.

You can leave it running 24/7, so if you are late home or away on holiday your fish's routine is not disturbed.
